Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address
First and last name
Password (encrypted)

Subscription Information

We store information about your subscription status, including:

Account tier (Free, Trial, or Pro)
Number of trial sessions used
Subscription status

Usage Data

We collect analytics about how you use the App, including practice sessions completed, scenarios practiced, and app feature usage. This data is stored locally on your device and in your personal account.

Voice and Conversation Data

When you use AI-powered practice features:

Voice recordings are captured temporarily on your device and sent to third-party services for transcription. Audio is not stored after transcription is complete.
Conversation text (your transcribed words and AI responses) is stored in your personal account for session history and analytics. This data is associated only with your account and is not shared with other users.

Third-Party AI Services

Important: When you use AI-powered practice sessions, your data is sent to third-party AI services to provide the experience. The App will ask for your explicit consent before sending any data to these services for the first time.

The following table details exactly what data is sent to each third-party AI service, and for what purpose:

What We Do NOT Do With Your Data

We do not sell your personal data or conversation data to any third party
We do not use your conversations for advertising or marketing purposes
We do not share your data with other users of the App
We do not use your data to train AI models

Other Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google)

Authentication and account management, user profile storage, and cloud functions. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

Subscription and payment processing. Payment information is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store through RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

All API keys are stored securely on our servers (not on your device)
Data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS
Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text
Authentication is handled by Firebase's secure infrastructure

Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
Voice recordings: Not retained. Processed in real-time and immediately discarded after transcription.
Conversation text: Stored in your personal account for session history. Deleted when you delete your account.
Usage analytics: Stored locally on your device and in your account. Cleared when you use the "Clear Analytics" feature, delete your account, or uninstall the App.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data stored in your account
Update your account information through the App
Delete your account and all associated data (Profile tab → Danger Zone → Delete Account)
Clear your local analytics data
Withdraw consent for AI data processing by discontinuing use of AI-powered features

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
